The app is great even if you dont buy anything from within it (but why not, the magazine is awesome). Their coverage of last flight to endor was great and great video of the event as well. I am DisneyWorlds on Twitter!
I love the magazine... thats the only reason I didnt give it a 1. Really nothing special. Basically a glorified PDF of the magazine. No extra content in the magazine like the People app. Links to website content are separate from the magazine section. Kind of ridiculous to have to pay the same price for the digital copy of issues when theres nothing to it and they dont even have to pay printing and shipping charges. Issues should be free for those who already subscribe to the magazine, just like the People and SI app. Unfortunately, I cant recommend this app unless they make some changes to the in app issue purchase pricing model.
App downloads fine. However when you buy a magazine and try to download it it says you must be hooked to wifi. I have an iPad and computer. Tried both and they will not download. I have sent a complaint however nothing has been done. Do not waste your money
What about us who already subscribe to your magazine? So if we want to read a issue of your magazine on our iPad, we have to buy a issue for $5.99? I mean, I know $6 an issue isnt a lot, but we still pay for your magazine already. There should be a way we could access our subscription, so we could view the issue on our iPad for free. Just saying. Dont get me wrong, I love your magazine, and love all the Disney info in it, (and other Orlando theme parks) but still. This could be a five star app, but for making us pay for an issue again, you lost a star.
